City Winery NYC Presents Muslim Girls DTF on November 4th at 7:30pm

What do Muslim women think? Since nobody ever asked, Aizzah Fatima (HBO's High Maintenance, Dirty Paki Lingerie) and Atheer Yacoub (Comedy Central) created the web series Muslim Girls DTF: Discuss Their Faith to dismantle Islamophobia and talk about culturally taboo subjects like dating, sex, and body hair. The live stage show will showcase stand-up from the creators alongside a diverse lineup of uncensored Muslim female comedians including:

• Cansu Karabiyik (Edinburgh Fringe Festival)
• Maysoon Zayid (Ted)
• Zubi Ahmed (Hulu)

They will also be screening sketches in between performances from their multi-award-winning pilot of the same title which won awards at 2022 SeriesFest for Best Written Comedy, Laughter Lab, Roddenberry Foundation, and Pop Culture Collab.
