Mel Mitchell is a dynamic and witty comedian who has left an indelible mark on the world of comedy and social media. Mel's comedic journey began at a 23, fueled by a natural flair for humor, storytelling and a series of unfortunate events.

Known for her infectious energy and relatable humor, Mel quickly gained recognition in the stand-up comedy circuit. Her ability to navigate and find humor in life’s tragedies resonated with audiences, earning her a dedicated following both on stage and on TikTok. Her content spans a wide range of topics, from hilarious observations about daily life to insightful commentary on popular movies, all delivered with her unique comedic style.

Her life motto is “laugh to keep from crying,” which motivated her to start doing stand-up comedy in 2018 after a series of unfortunate events including the loss of her late father. Over the last six years, she’s graced stages all across the country. She opened for veteran comedian, Roy Wood Jr. on his national tour “The Test Kitchen: Tribulations;” and award- winning recording artist, Ari Lennox and opened for Zainab Johnson. She’s concluded a tour with Kev On Stage in the summer of 2023. She most recently headlined two sold-out shows in Atlanta in April and starred in a talk show series with TikTok.
