James Maddock, a rock & roll veteran since the 1980s, has crafted a unique musical journey with a soulful voice and a knack for blending folk, classic pop, and rock. From his early days in London to becoming an independent solo artist in New York City, Maddock has navigated the music industry's highs and lows.
With a brush of commercial success in the late 1990s, including a major-label record deal and a Top 5 AAA radio hit, Maddock transitioned to an independent solo career in the following decades. His albums, like "Sunrise On Avenue C" and "Wake Up And Dream," received acclaim, and he continued to release noteworthy works, including two albums created during the pandemic – "No time to Cry" (2020) and "Little Bird in the Neighbourhood" (2021).
In 2023, Maddock released "Night Work," a collection of songs showcasing his talent and drawing comparisons to The Eagles and Credence Clearwater Revival. Collaborating with accomplished musicians, the album received positive reviews for its heartfelt and well-crafted songs.
