When charismatic duo Eleanor Dubinsky and Dario Acosta Teich perform together, they connect - to each other, to audiences, to diverse traditions that become surprisingly familiar, and the deeper reaches of human emotion. Their concerts in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese invite audiences to travel the world while discovering the underground tributaries that connect us in our diverse humanity.
Eleanor is a St. Louis, MO born vocalist/songwriter/cellist. Dario is a guitarist/composer from Tucumán, Argentina, a center of South American folk culture. The duo’s multilingual repertoire weaves together their cross-continental backgrounds with instrumentation including world percussion, Latin folk instruments, cello, classical guitar and vocal harmonies. This City Winery performance celebrates the official release of Eleanor & Dario’s new album and the launch of their 2025-26 nation-wide tour!
Recent engagements include the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, City Winery NYC, CT Folk Fest, John Platt’s On Your Radar, Jazz Aspen-Snowmass and International Jazz Day in Luanda, Angola. Eleanor and Dario also lead educational programs in schools and universities, as well as serve as cultural ambassadors in Latin America and on the African continent via the U.S. Department of State.
