Cody Melville Band is Cody, John Melville, Joel Cannon and Phil Cohen. They’re a NYC based group who are currently recording their latest album ‘Joey Saint’ slated for release in 2024. This is the follow up to ‘Dogs in this Town’ released in 2021 and their 2019 album Bonds Eye.

In GORGEOUS MAZE, Heather Eatman finds her way.

For years, the gifted storyteller's narratives, in the words of the Washington Post, captured "the seemingly settled fates of restless small-town-dreamers and big-time losers, circus freaks and social geeks, with a bracing mix of compassion and detail."

But with her latest album, GORGEOUS MAZE, fate gives way to redemption for these troubled souls, and for Eatman herself.

Dedicated to her brother, Geoffrey, whom she lost to a heroin overdose in 2016, GORGEOUS MAZE reflects a moving and profound period of transformation for Eatman. Musical siblings and soulmates, Geoffrey and Heather encouraged each other's songwriting. His loss and its lessons cast both shadow and light across the album’s soundscapes.

Born in East Texas to "PBS" parents in a land of pine trees, tornadoes and red clay, Eatman moved to NYC at 17 to attend art school at Parsons School of Design.

Post-graduation, Heather began performing in the storied bars and clubs around the Lower East Side. And in the early 90s, Eatman became only the second artist signed to the late John Prine's Oh Boy Records (Prine was the first). Her debut album, MASCARA FALLS received critical praise, and Heather was soon introduced to a wider audience with nationally-syndicated radio play and an electrifying appearance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."

Fast forward to today, Heather is releasing her fourth full-length album, GORGEOUS MAZE. Not exactly the work of a run-of-the-mill singer-songwriter, this record stands with everything rock fans could want — solid bass lines, catchy rhythm hooks and always a strong point of view. The songs sparkle with cinematic stories and carefully crafted sonic soundscapes tied together with the signature rhythm guitar stylings of Eatman’s iconic red 1968 Gibson ES-330.

Heather Eatman lives in Brooklyn. She makes music, art, works in graphic design and has her own independent dog walking business.
